Marguerite Montgomery
Elementary School
2017-2018
The fives sites at Montgomery Marguerite Elementary (MME) introduced the student interns to garden design, plant biology, site analysis, garden installation, and maintenance. Comprehensive site analysis, collaborative design, and extensive group critiques helped moved the vision from paper to soil.

Birch lane elementary school
The Margaret O'Brien Arboretum at BLE provides a space for young children to explore, play, and immerse themselves in nature. Student interns worked in teams to build ecological hotspots using climate-adapted species, bringing more diversity to this site. Edible, fragrant, and hardy plants were selected to foster a kid-friendly environment.
